Arrival at True North Health
The trip went well today with the plane actually arriving 15 minutes early. I checked in at about 1 PM and I have already been examined by the doctor and I have had blood drawn.
Here are some pictures of my home for the next 3 weeks.
This is the courtyard of the facility and you can see the balcony of my room on the far right hand side of the photo on the second floor.

The picture below is an example of the room itself. I have a private room with big screen TV, wireless internet and my own balcony and ALL OF THE WATER I CAN DRINK!

The weather here is beautiful, about 80 and low humidity today.

Hi, I am a married, 58 year-old, living in a suburb of Philadelphia with 3 adult children. I work at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA where I am a Professor and Director of Binocular Vision and Pediatric programs at the College. I have worked there since 1982. My wife (Maxine) and I have been married for almost 37 years. Our three children, Ariella, Eli and Daniel, now live on their own, so we are empty nester’s, longing for grandchildren.
I have been a vegetarian for about 25 years and a VEGAN for about the past 20 years. I thank my Mother for introducing me to the Natural Hygiene Diet and philosophy of Herbert Shelton. Over the years I have developed an interest in vegan cooking and I now consider that to be my main form of relaxation.
Besides cooking, I spend considerable time fervently following the NY Yankees, NY Giants, NY Knicks, and NY Rangers.
I have been thinking of fasting for several years and the time was right for me to proceed with it this summer.
